My decision to run for re-election to City Council is driven by my commitment to public service and my belief in the power of one person to make a difference. This is my community and it is my responsibility to make it better.

As a City Councilor, I have worked to get back to basics in Portland.  

I have focused on the core functions of city government:  

Keeping us safe, taking care of our streets, water and sewer system, our fire & police stations.

  • ☑ Passed Budget Amendment for citywide “Asset Management” strategy

    Problem: Public infrastructure was aging without a long-term plan


    Action: Passed a citywide Asset Management strategy


    Impact: Protected taxpayer-owned assets and reduced costly emergency repairs

  • ☑ Passed Sidewalk Improvement and Paving Program Resolution

    Problem: Missing sidewalks made walking unsafe in parts of Portland


    Action: Passed a sidewalk improvement program for Districts 4 & 1


    Impact: Safer, more walkable neighborhoods where investment was overdue

  • ☑ Passed Budget Amendment for Safety at the CEI Hub

    Problem: A Critical Energy Infrastructure tank farm posed serious safety and environmental risks


    Action: Passed a budget amendment to address and reduce risk


    Impact: Improved safety and preparedness for District 4 and the City of Portland

    Problem: Proposed funding cuts threatened public safety services


    Action: Protected core police funding


    Impact: Preserved emergency response and community safety

  • ☑ Supported Shelter Expansion With Neighborhood Support

    The Problem
    Portland faced urgent homelessness needs alongside neighborhood concerns about safety and livability.

    The Action
    Supported a comprehensive shelter plan paired with mandatory public safety, sanitation, and graffiti response for surrounding communities.

    The Impact
    Advanced humane shelter solutions without leaving neighborhoods behind.

  • ☑ Supported Our 32 Neighborhoods with 27 Outreach Meetings

    The Problem
    Strong neighborhoods require active participation and responsive leadership.

    The Action
    Engaged residents through 27 neighborhood outreach meetings and reinvested office funds to support neighborhood associations.

    The Impact
    Helped strengthen local civic infrastructure and kept community voices at the center of city governance.

Why Now?

We are at a pivotal point in Portland’s history with a change in our governance structure. Twelve new city councilors must work together to solve problems.

I have experience working on boards and building coalitions to navigate complex issues and find practical solutions. I am confident in my ability to make the Council a positive force for Portland’s future.
