  • Strengthened stewardship of public assets by passing a budget amendment requiring a citywide Asset Management strategy to care for Portland’s infrastructure, including publicly owned performing arts venues.

  • Expanded walkability and pedestrian safety by passing a sidewalk improvement and paving program focused on neighborhoods with the greatest need, particularly in Districts 4 and 1.

  • Addressed critical safety and environmental risks by passing a budget amendment to confront threats posed by the Critical Energy Infrastructure tank farm on unstable soils in Linnton, in far north District 4.

  • Protected essential public safety services by opposing efforts to reduce police funding and helping preserve reliable emergency response across the city.

  • Advanced homelessness solutions with accountability by supporting Mayor Wilson’s shelter plan while requiring public safety response, sanitation, and graffiti removal in impacted neighborhoods.

  • Strengthened neighborhood engagement by holding 27 outreach meetings across 32 District 4 neighborhoods and reinvesting office funds to support neighborhood associations.

  • Co-founded CASA building farmworker and affordable housing

  • Improved public safety and secured fire trucks for local government

  • Strengthened Oregon’s Clean Air Plan

  • Secured $500+ million for light rail and Tilikum bridge

  • Led state-local partnerships for Governor Kitzhaber

  • Chaired Oregon Providence Health System Board
